Expert Engineering Change Management & Process Development for the Automotive Industry

We partner with large Tier 1 automotive suppliers and complex product organisations to bring clarity, control, and profitability back to their product development and Engineering Change Management processes.

Our Story

My career began in the toolroom of a company manufacturing injection-moulded components for the automotive industry. By joining the Engineering Team of a global Automotive Tier 1 interiors supplier, I honed my skills in Bill of Materials (BOM) and Engineering Change Management while working on major programmes for Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, Nissan, and others.

I then spent more than seven years living and working in Asia, supporting startup automakers in Shanghai and playing a key role in developing robust systems and processes for the R&D division of the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer (by volume).

Upon returning to the UK, I worked with emerging British automakers before taking on a new challenge in the construction sector — introducing proven automotive-grade systems into a major test-bed facility and demonstrating the benefits of offsite and nearsite manufacturing for some of the UK's biggest construction megaprojects.

These diverse experiences — spanning high-volume production, cutting-edge R&D, international scale, and cross-industry innovation — led to the founding of Nicksted Limited in 2026.
